Show the EU Battery Regulation (2023/1542) information — chemistry, capacity, voltage, replaceability, the separate-collection symbol and hazardous-substance markings (Cd / Pb / Hg) — on your product pages.

Fill in a product
Open any product with a battery and scroll to Product metafields. The Battery fields are already there (created automatically). Enter e.g. Battery chemistry Li-ion, Battery capacity 5000 mAh, Battery voltage 3.7 V, Battery replaceability user-replaceable, and Battery separate collection true to show the separate-collection symbol. Save.

Add the block to the product template
In the theme editor, use the page selector at the top and choose Products › Default product. Click Add block (in the Product information section or via Add section > Apps) and choose Battery Information. Save. Important: the block shows product data, so it must live on the product template — not the home page.

Check the product page
Open the product's page in your online store: the battery specifications, the good points / things to note summary, the separate-collection symbol and any hazard markings appear automatically. Products without battery data show nothing — no empty labels.
